My first role in branding development is to establish a firm creative direction with my clients, and one that we both can envision to serve as a foundation to leverage future communications. I think brand stewardship needs to be shared by everyone in a given business to be effective, and it’s much easier for everyone to get on board if the initial direction is well thought out with room to grow. I often incorporate illustration into my identity work and branch out from there with concepts and imagery for additional correspondence.
